Ingredients
- 220 g digestive biscuits
- 90 g melted butter
- 220 g dulce de leche
- 3 bananas
- 250 ml double cream
- 1 tbsp icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- cocoa powder
Method
Step 1
Line the base of a 23 cm tart tin or pie dish with baking paper.
Step 2
Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs, mix them with the melted butter, and press the mixture firmly into the base and sides of the tin.
Step 3
Chill the crust for 20 minutes until firm.
Step 4
Spread the dulce de leche evenly over the chilled crust.
Step 5
Slice the bananas and arrange them over the dulce de leche.
Step 6
Whip the cream with the icing sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
Step 7
Spoon or pipe the whipped cream over the bananas and dust the top with cocoa powder.
Step 8
Chill for 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
