Ingredients

  • 250 g sponge cake cubes
  • 250 g strawberries
  • 30 g sugar
  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • 150 g vanilla custard

Method

  1. Step 1

    Toss the sliced strawberries with the sugar and leave them for 10 minutes to release their juices.

  2. Step 2

    Spoon a layer of sponge cake cubes into the base of the glasses.

  3. Step 3

    Add a layer of vanilla custard.

  4. Step 4

    Add a layer of strawberries and some of their syrup.

  5. Step 5

    Top with whipped cream.

  6. Step 6

    Repeat the layers once more.

  7. Step 7

    Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
