Ingredients
- 4 sandwich rolls
- 455 g shrimp, cooked
- 30 ml chipotle mayo
- 1 sliced avocado and 20 g shredded lettuce
- 60 g Oaxaca or mozzarella cheese
- 15 ml butter or olive oil
Method
Step 1
Lay out the 4 sandwich rolls and spread each slice or half with 30 ml chipotle mayo.
Step 2
Warm 455 g shrimp, cooked in a skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Pile the protein onto the bread and top it with 1 sliced avocado and 20 g shredded lettuce and 60 g oaxaca or mozzarella cheese.
Step 4
Close the sandwiches and brush the outsides lightly with butter or olive oil.
Step 5
Place the sandwiches in a hot skillet or press and cook them for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden.
Step 6
Rest the sandwiches for 1 minute so the filling settles.
Step 7
Slice and serve them while the cheese is still melted.
