Dark Chocolate Tahini Cookies

Ingredients

  • 180 g plain flour
  • 80 g tahini
  • 90 ml maple syrup
  • 70 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 4 g baking powder
  • 30 ml plant milk
  • 1 g sea salt

Method

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Step 2

    Add 180 g plain flour, 4 g baking powder, and 1 g sea salt to a mixing bowl and whisk them together.

  3. Step 3

    Add 80 g tahini, 90 ml maple syrup, and 30 ml plant milk to a second bowl and stir until smooth.

  4. Step 4

    Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture, add 70 g dark chocolate, chopped, and fold until a soft cookie dough forms.

  5. Step 5

    Scoop the dough into 10 to 12 mounds on the tray and flatten them slightly with your hand.

  6. Step 6

    Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are set and the centers still look soft.

  7. Step 7

    Let the cookies cool on the tray for 10 minutes before moving them to a rack.
