- 220 g lean ground turkey
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 80 g onion diced
- 80 g carrots diced
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 8 large lettuce leaves
Method
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a pan and cook onion and carrots for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add turkey and cook for 5 minutes, breaking it apart.
Step 3
Stir in garlic, chili flakes, soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar.
Step 4
Cook another 2 minutes until sticky and glazed.
Step 5
Spoon the turkey mix into crisp lettuce leaves.
Step 6
Serve immediately with extra chili if desired.
